This week has been a long, exhausting and divided week. I found myself frequently biting my tongue when the topic of the election came up. Whether it’s about what’s right or wrong with the process, or about what is right or wrong about what it will look like with each candidate, I found myself trying my best to listen to and respect the opinions of others. Listen without judgement. But frequently keeping my views to myself for fear of alienating a friend.
No matter the outcome, whether we like it or we don’t like it, we, as citizens of this great United States of America, must recognize our responsibility to unite our country. Just as leaders of our companies, our communities, our families; we shoulder the responsibility of uniting our team behind a shared vision. Let’s use those leadership skills to unite our country.
