Unity

I was going to write about goals and keeping our intentions....but after the occurrences of Wednesday this week, I am compelled to write about UNITY.

I talked with my brother yesterday, who has a very different political perspective than I have. Not right or wrong, just different. We had a great discussion, not an argument, a discussion. We were open, honest and respectful. We disagreed; but did not disrespect. We debated; but also listened to each other. We are truly united because we are brother and sister. But I believe we all can be UNITED as Americans.

“We are all Americans first”

Let’s be open to dialogue, discussion and debate; but do so with respect. Voice our opinions; but not resort to violence. Treat each other as humans with kindness and respect our fellow Americans.

“Just because you have a different view or opinion doesn’t mean you are wrong or we dislike each other”
